
MARES - Ultra ADJ 82X Regulator Set
The Ultra ADJ scuba diving regulator features a pneumatically balanced 82X first stage with a 360° rotating turret including five low pressure (LP) ports and two pre-oriented high pressure (HP) ports. The Ultra ADJ second stage is made of lightweight technopolymer and features a Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) including an innovative Twin Power System. This combination provides the best performance with maximum comfort in all conditions at any depth.
82X First Stage
The 82X first stage is made from chrome-plated brass with a "pearl" finish. This makes it highly resistant to abrasion, while offering a unique, elegant appearance. It features a balanced membrane diaphragm designed to ensure advanced, reliable performance at any depth. Comes standard with Mares Auto-Sealing Technology (AST). The AST system is automatically activated by air flow without any mechanical solution for maximum reliability, creating anti-flooding protection that keeps the first stage dry in all conditions.
The 82X first stage features a 360° rotating turret with five low pressure (LP) ports (4 radial and 1 vertical). All low pressure (LP) ports offer Mares' patented Dynamic Flow Control (DFC) for high, consistent airflow at all depths. Also, the 82X first stage features O.P.D. (Optimised Port Design) with two pre-oriented high pressure (HP) ports angled opposite each other. The first stage can be positioned with the rotating turret facing up or down for maximum freedom of choice.
Ultra ADJ Second Stage
The Ultra ADJ second stage is made from ultra-lightweight and ultra-strong technopolymer. This second stage features a Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) which allows for unobstructed airflow and consistent natural breathing at any depth. Also, an innovative Twin Power System allows the diver to control the speed of airflow. A simple twist increases airflow when required (designed for the very deep diver). It is pneumatically balanced with a Pneumatic Assisted Design (PAD) system offering comfortable, effortless breathing in every situation.
The combination of PAD and a Twin Power system, coupled with the ability to adjust breathing effort, provides the best performance with maximum comfort in all conditions at any depth.

Ultralight technopolymer: Abrasion resistant and affordable, ideal for diving in warm and moderate water temperatures.
DFC - Dynamic Flow Control: Minimises intermediate pressure drop during inhalation thus maximising gas delivery, especially under extreme conditions.
Twin Power: New flow control manages the delivery rate of your gas, from natural breathing to power breathing. The former is the traditional way of breathing a Mares regulator (VAD) while the latter (VAD+) provides an extra push when you need it.
VAD - Vortex Assisted Design: The air bypass tube delivers air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex with a low pressure area in the centre that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation for very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths.
Superflex Hose: Extreme light weight and exceptional softness guarantee the maximum freedom of movement.

Regulator Special Disclaimer
Equipment complying with EN 250 is not intended for breathing by more than one user at the same time.If SCUBA equipment is configured and used by more than one diver at the same time, the cold water and breathing performance may not fulfill the requirements of EN 250. Therefore, the octopus should not be used during dives in cold water. Use of the dual regulator is recommended for cold water diving.
For safety reasons, it is not advisable to use an Octopus second stage that is not a certified Mares Octopus.
