After speaking with technical divers, Mares designed the 2nd Stage LP Swivel Connector. This innovative swivel design offers 360 degree second stage rotation, becoming indispensable within any sidemount configuration. It also finds great demand in the use of decompression tanks, giving all technical divers the peace of mind of not missing the second stage or stressing the jaw.

Mares designed the 2nd Stage LP Swivel Connector based on a great demand from technical divers. This innovative swivel design offers 360 degree second stage rotation. Its features make it highly appreciated by XR divers who have greater freedom of movement, while maintaining a safe position of the regulator in their mouth. When the technical diver turns his head, the swivel connector significantly decreases chances of missing the second stage, leaving the divers jaws relaxed. Its ideal use is for the sidemount configuration or for decompression cylinders. The main features of the 2nd Stage LP Swivel Connector are:
Adapter for low pressure hose - 360 ° swivel
To be placed between the regulator hose and the second stage
Ideal for the left regulator of a sidemount system
More convenient for waist or stage mounted cylinders
Reduces the mandibular fatigue
Allows wider movement of the head
